Edha Nahdi

Edha Abdallah Nahdi is a Tanzanian businessman and industrialist best known as the Group Managing Director of Amsons Group, one of East Africa’s fastest-growing conglomerates. Nahdi began his business career in the petroleum sector before expanding the company into cement manufacturing, logistics, energy, real estate, food processing, and regional infrastructure investments. Under his leadership, Amsons Group grew into a major regional player with operations across multiple African countries, including landmark acquisitions in Kenya’s cement industry.

Nahdi has increasingly become one of East Africa’s most influential young business figures, known for promoting African-led industrialization, regional trade integration, and private-sector investment. He has also gained international attention through philanthropic and healthcare initiatives, including major maternal health projects in Kenya and speeches advocating reduced dependence on foreign aid in Africa.
