Ghana & Korea: Landmark “Phage Therapy” Deal Signed
The West Africa Centre for Innovative Research (WAFCIRC) in Kumasi signed a historic deal with South Korea’s MicrobiotiX. They will begin clinical trials in Ghana using viruses (bacteriophages) to kill "superbugs" that have become resistant to standard antibiotics.
