Muhoozi Kainerugaba

Ugandan Militant

Muhoozi Kainerugaba is a Ugandan military general, political operator, and the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF). As the firstborn son of President Yoweri Museveni, who has held executive power since 1986. Kainerugaba has been groomed through elite military postings, command of the Presidential Guard and Special Forces, and rapid promotional ranks to stand as the primary heir to Uganda’s executive power. Known for his erratic social media diplomacy, aggressive state security crackdowns, and leadership of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Kainerugaba remains the most polarizing and decisive military figure shaping modern Ugandan politics and regional security across the Great Lakes region.
