With Valentine’s Day approaching, the Central Bank of Kenya has issued a stern warning against the trend of gifting bouquets made of folded banknotes. The bank reminded citizens that "mutilating" or pinning currency is a criminal offense punishable by heavy fines or imprisonment under Kenyan law.
